What's great about Knock Out Roses

By Denny McKeown

Question: My Knock Out Roses are in a spot on my front porch where they won't get the morning sun. Does that hurt them?

Answer: As long as they get the afternoon sun, it's not a problem. You're in great shape: Among the many benefits of Knock Out Roses is that they are the only rose on this planet that will grow and do well with a minimum of three hours of sun. And people should realize that.

For any other rose - flower carpet, you name it - you need a minimum of six to eight hours of sun. But Knock Out is the best around, and for a very good reason. And the yellows are absolutely beautiful. They have shiny leaves and they also have a nice rose aroma. And when you shop at any garden center now you should see them in bloom.
